Happy Friday, Toledo! It’s officially Farmers Market Season if you ask me! This week in the blog we’re talking about when and where the farmer’s markets are, fun things to do
Top 5 Best Steakhouses in Toledo
Okay, I can't lie...I don't eat steak...like ever. But, take it from the wife of a steak-loving man (afterall, our first date was Texas Roadhouse where he bragged for 10 minutes about the size of steak he ate there once..need I say more?!?)...
THESE are Toledo's Top 5 Steakhouses!
Everything about this place is sleek and beautiful. In the dining room, you are surrounded by artwork by Toledo artists and photographs of new and old icons of Toledo. The 20 feet tall windows looking out to the riverfront make the atmosphere a 10 out of 10 in my book. The Chop House only offers USDA Prime Beef that has either been wet aged 28 days or dry aged in-house to a melt in your mouth perfection. The wait staff is highly trained an knowledgable to make sure you’re choosing the steak that you will enjoy most! My husband and I dined here for his 30th birthday and were blown away by the service! (If you’re going on your actual birthday, make sure to ask about the birthday discount!) This is probably the most expensive option on this list, but worth every penny.

Final Cut is located within the Hollywood Casino, but the dining room is quiet and intimate. It is the steakhouse winner of the Forbes Four-Star Travel Guide. Their steak is all hand-selected USDA prime beef. If you’re the type to order the largest steak available on the menu, you may want to double check that when you come here because they cook a 30 ounce prime rib! On another note, if you’re more into the wine list than the steak list (like me), they have a 200-bottle wine list to choose from. That in itself is a reason to go check them out, if you ask me!

You must not be from around here if you’ve never heard of this Toledo staple. The Mancy family has been serving up the most beautifully seared steaks in Toledo for generations. Their steaks are aged and hand-cut on premise. Besides the amazing food, what I love about this place is the whole vibe. Their dining room is lined in beautiful carved wood, stained glass and brass details…You just have to see it for yourself. As their website says, when you step into Mancy’s Steakhouse, “the world slows down to meet you”. It is one of the most delicious, coziest and welcoming restaurants in Toledo, so you MUST TRY if you haven’t yet!

Another Toledo staple! I always knew if I wanted to get my Dad something he’d really enjoy for a gift, I could just take him to Ahmed’s and his day would be made. Ahmed’s is a family owned steakhouse with quality food and service. I love this place for their approachable and casual menu. Ahmed’s keeps it simple and I appreciate that. From strip steaks to T-Bones, they’ve got you covered! If a restaurant has held up a great reputation for the 20+ years they’ve been open, they must be doing something right!
1923 West Alexis Road Toledo, Ohio 43613
I know this isn’t your traditional steakhouse, but hear me out! I love a good hibachi dinner with sushi appetizer and this steakhouse has come recommended to me on numerous occasions from various foodies around town. The best part about hibachi, of course, is they cook it right in front of you! Entertainment plus food… I’ll take it! The steak options here are NY stripsteak and filet mignon.
