Toledo Coffee Shops - My Top Picks
Dated: November 13 2019
In honor of "pumpkin spice latte" season.. I thought I'd cover my top picks for coffee shops in Northwest Ohio. There is nothing quite like a warm cup to soothe your soul during the Fall and Winter months. Local coffee shops are my favorite place to meet with clients because, let's face it, it's so much better than a stuffy office. Keep reading to see my top picks in Toledo and let me know what your favorite coffee shop is!
Charitable, eco-friendly and delicious! SIP is a popular place to sit, enjoy your coffee, have a sweet treat and get some work done. I love working from here because the dining room is spacious and it has a ton of natural light. It’s the perfect place to sit and get focused. Besides coffee, SIP sells sandwiches, bagels, pastries and other great “on-the-go” options. I always feel good about supporting this shop because they donate their extra food and they’re always choosing eco-friendly options for their products.

Located near the University of Toledo, BREW Coffee Bar is the perfect place to get caffeinated while studying or meeting up with friends. A fun fact about BREW is that they use the Ann Arbor favorite, Zingerman’s coffee beans, in all of their coffee! They also roast their coffee beans twice a week so the coffee is always fresh. BREW has you covered if you prefer tea or if you’d like a sweet treat to go along with your study session!
Location: 1440 Secor Rd Toledo OH 43607

I think it’s safe to say that Black Kite is an Old West End staple now. This place is a foodie’s dream. They offer wonderful seasonal coffees and all their food is made from scratch at their restaurant. This is another place that is so considerate about food sensitivities and different diets. I encourage anyone to go and try their brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-2.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-7pm Saturday: 9am-5pm Sunday 10am-5pm
Charming, cute and cozy! I love this shop located in downtown Sylvania. Chandler’s has delicious coffee, soups, sandwiches, breakfast and pastries. You can always count on their drive-thru for a quick cup on-the-go too! As you walk in, you’ll notice the charming historic features they’ve kept in the building from the exposed brick walls to the vintage metal ceiling. Their staff is very helpful and it’s a wonderful place to meet friends.
Location: 5648 N Main St. Sylvania OH, 43560
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm Saturday 8am-5pm Sunday 9am-3pm
This modern yet charming coffee shop gets an A+ from me. Not only are their coffees delicious, they’re pretty too. Maddie and Bella’s also have healthy breakfast/pastry options that accommodate different food sensitivities, which I love! There is a location in downtown Toledo and one in downtown Perrysburg.
