Here is a list of the 5 most spine-chilling, hair-raising, and frightening Haunted Houses in the Toledo area.  Enter if you dare!

Haunted Hydro

Haunted Hydro is celebrating its 30th year in business this year, so you know they’ve pulled out all the stops.  Their haunted house takes place in an old electric power plant building and they’ve also got a haunted trail that borders the Sandusky River.  Along with the 2 haunted attractions, they also have four 5-minute escape rooms for you to try.

Hours vary, but they’re open 7-11:30 Fridays and Saturdays until November 2nd. Visit their website for more hours.

Panic in the Pines

Enter if you dare! This haunted hayride and trail will have you screaming for sure!

Open every Saturday in October from 8-10pm.

Lake Eerie Fearfest

You’ll have to drive a little farther for this one, but it will be worth your time.  Forbes magazine rates Lake Eerie Fearfest in its Top 10 Haunted Attractions in the country.  They offer six different haunted attractions, so there is plenty to do!

Open Friday and Saturdays from 8pm-midnight and Sundays from 8-10pm until October 27th

Field of Fear

If you’re ready for some outdoor experiences, Field of Fear is the place to be. They offer a haunted hay ride and a creepy corn maze.  (They recently posted a really cool video showing the lay of the land, check that out on their Facebook here:  Along with the haunted attractions, they also have three escape rooms to test your skills at.

Open Friday and Saturday through November 2nd from 7-10:30pm
