My Results from TrvFit's 21 Day Program

We’re getting personal today and trust me, I wouldn’t be sharing this personal info with all of you if I didn’t believe that it could make a positive impact on someone’s life! Last winter I stepped foot into TrvFit for the first time as a part of one of their 21 day programs.  It was one of the best decisions I’ve made this year, so today we’re talking all about my results from the program. 

Just so happens, this is coming out at the perfect time because their next 21 day program is starting this Sunday! (Scroll to the end for all the specifics on this round!)

Alright, let’s get to it:

What is TrvFit’s 21 Day Program?

The 21 Day Program is set up for people of all levels of fitness. You will receive:

- body composition scan when you start to measure your starting point and progress

- custom nutrition to set you up to hit your long term goals

- 3x/weekly check ins from the coach assigned to guide you through the program

- daily access to TrvFit’s 4 styles of classes

- continued education through TrvFit’s private Facebook group

- tons of support and fun with the TrvFit community

    My honest review of the 21 day program:

    The first step in the 21 day program is to assess where you are and where you’re going. You will put some thought into what your goals in the program are and the coaches are right there with you to help hone in on this, if you need help. For example, are you trying to build muscle or are you more focused on trimming down?

    Next is the body composition scan.  This scan will tell you all kinds of details about your body, from basic things like your BMI (body mass index) and your weight to in-depth details like your skeletal muscle mass and your body fat mass. I love technology like this and it was really cool to analyze my starting point with tangible numbers like this.

    The third step is to implement a nutrition plan specific to where you’re at.  My coach, Cat, helped me figure out the daily calorie, protein, fat and carbohydrate intake I should be consuming for the 21 day program. They’ll also provide recipes and tips for staying on track! It was a great feeling at the end of the day to know I had worked out AND eaten in a way that satisfied me but was also going to help me reach my goals.

    The fourth step is the hardest part… to SHOW UP!  Now it’s time to show up to the classes and stick to the plan! It was nice having a personal coach throughout the program because not only did it hold me accountable, but you already have a friend at the gym!  (Trust me though, making friends at TrvFit is EASY regardless if you know someone or not. I don’t know how they attract the most friendly people, but we need to figure out their secret!)

    Now for the fun part…MY RESULTS!

    At the end of the 21 days, you get another body composition scan to measure your results.  I was AMAZED at the difference in three weeks.  Many family members even noticed a difference in my body during the three weeks.  

    My starting weight was already pretty healthy, so my goal was to do more toning and build muscle. 

    Even though I only lost one pound (again, my goal was not to lose weight), I ended up decreasing my body fat mass by SIX pounds and GAINING 5 pounds of lean body mass!  My percentage of body fat went from 26.5% to 22.3%. *Remember, this is all in just 21 days!*

    Along with the results in the scan, my body felt overall, so much better. Places where I was always stiff, were now loose and my body definitely had more energy to “GO”.  The classes got easier and I was able to increase weight as the program went on. 

    Not only did my body look and feel better, my mind felt better. I’m sure you’ve heard that movement increases endorphins in your body and I definitely believe that. It feels good to be productive and see results like this.
