Best Patios In & Around Toledo

It’s that time of year again!  Time for enjoying great food, outdoor music and beautiful views.  Lucky for us, Toledo has no shortage of great patios to enjoy.  Here are some of my favorite patios in and around Toledo.

Manhattan's Pub 'N Cheer: I'd describe this one as "city-charm'. They're in the heart of uptown and are part of the DORA district, making it a very popular patio during the warm weather months.  You can expect string lights, street dining, good food and often, performances by talented local musicians.

Rosie's Italian Grille: Come to Rosie’s when you want to feel like you just took a trip to Italy.  They patio has a wonderful, European feel and they often have awesome, live music to set the mood. I love meeting girlfriends here for appetizers, sangria and live music on the patio.

The Docks:  Whatever your craving, The Docks in Toledo have you covered!  All the restaurants located at the docks have wonderful patio seating with a view of the Maumee River.  Visit El Vaquero for Mexican food, The Real Seafood Co. for seafood and steaks, Kobe Bay for sushi and hibachi, Zia’s for Italian food and Hamburger Mary’s for American food (and maybe a show!).

Webber’s Waterfront Restaurant: Located just over the Ohio border in Erie, MI, this is one that you don’t want to miss. Webber’s is located on a quiet channel of water.  It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a sunset, watch the boats go by and enjoy some really good food.

The Heights: There is something to be said for rooftop patios! The view of downtown Toledo, great cocktails and delicious appetizers is what you can expect here.  They have a modern atmosphere and their patio has gas fire pits that you can gather around with your friends during those cool summer nights. On some nights you can catch some live music and a beautiful sunset here as well!

La Roe's: If you're in Toledo, this one is a bit of a drive, but I promise it's worth your while.  Especially if you like small town charm.  La Roe's has a beautiful patio out back with a view of the river and park (see picture below).  They play music to set the mood and their food is truly wonderful.
